I would like to offer you a heartfelt welcome to Gangwon International Language Institute.

Our institute mainly teaches two groups: English speaking skills for students and intensive training programs for English teachers. It is oriented towards high level English education in Gangwon province.

Our institute officially opened on March 1st in 2009 after it found that a large number of individuals needed to be taught English. And it is true that many people in Gangwon province did not have an opportunity to learn English because of their financial situations. Therefore, we created many English study programs to eliminate the disparity.

As our main program, we have a 6 month-intensive English training program for English teachers and a temporary English camp program for students. In addition, we also teach university students.

The sixth grade elementary school students and second grade middle school students are trained to be mentors in the future. They spend four nights and five days at GILI in order to learn situational English. It is critical that they should be familiar with many western cultures. This is why we created the experience center so the students can easily learn necessary English expressions.

Highly-qualified teachers, state-of-the-art-facilities and many kinds of exciting programs are extremely beneficial to students and their parents. They are trained so they can find their confidence.  That is what we want in the long run.

We hope our program will be a keystone when you dream of becoming a global leader. We strongly hope that students we trained will be true global leader in the future and the teachers we trained will be teachers who will truly love and guide their students in the right direction.
